Setting New Sustainability Standards
Design and construction of a ground plus six suspended levels commuter car park providing 900 car spaces. Includes feature façade, increased floor height on ground floor for future retail conversion, 2 lifts, metal deck roof with solar panels, electric vehicle charging and provisions for boom gates.
Built with a strong emphasis on reducing carbon emissions and employing innovative construction methods, this project incorporated world-leading sustainability initiatives. These included artificial intelligence-powered energy monitoring systems, portable battery systems replacing diesel generators, and hydrogen generators.
The project attained a Platinum rating, the highest, under the Sustainability Design Guidelines v4.0. A W Edwards hope that these sustainability initiatives will set a precedent for future projects to embrace greener construction methods and develop resilient, future-focused infrastructure.
