A sustnaible infrastructure
The car park was designed and built with innovative sustainable features to reduce embodied carbon emissions and adapt to climate change. Includes feature façade, 2 lifts, increased floor height on ground floor for future retail conversion, HV kiosk, metal deck roof with solar panels, electric vehicle charging and provisions for boom gates.
It was built using an average of 37% recycled concrete mix material and reinforced steel with an estimated 65% to 80% of recycled scrap. Rooftop solar that provides power for the building and sun protection for commuters and parked cars was also installed, along a rainwater capture system which helps reduce localised flooding, filters impurities from runoff and assists in watering the new landscaping. Moreover, an innovative and efficient ramp design was adopted for fitting more car spaces on each floor.
